: Psico Design ep. 37 : GOLDEN SECTION

GOLDEN SECTION, the hidden meaning in a tattoo

in this short article of the section “PSICO DESIGN – the psychology of the drawings” we address the meaning and symbolism of the GOLDEN SECTION from a mythical or primordial point of view, to apply it in the portrayal of the tattoo

Anyway, we speak of fairytales that make us dream, there’s no time for science here

The prefrontal cortex has no ground here, we move within the emotions of the limbic brain or the instinct of the reptilian brain

THE GOLDEN SECTION is an act of humility and at the same time a claim to omnipotence

let’s see….

what is the golden section?

It’s a pattern, a set of relationships between the parties involved, is the cause of an absurd and legendary set of numbers

the golden section is a pattern that repeats itself

in the whole world, everywhere

from the shape of hen’s eggs

to the arrangement of sunflower seeds

to the shape of a shell

to the arrangement of a galaxy

to the relationships between the measurements of the parts of the human body, even those that respect the relationships of the parts of the golden section

In short, man has been studying this “thing” for millennia and yet he hasn’t got anywhere

He studies and studies and the more he studies he finds absurd places where this law is enforced

a law that is everywhere and man still cannot understand it

such a little dumb man that wants to understand the omnipotence but can’t figure it out

and so we want to understand the logic of our actions, our thoughts, the motions of our minds

we want to understand why bad things and injustices happen

why, why, why and why

instead we’re just little ants that can’t understand such big things

and sometimes we just have to accept that they’re like this

and everything that man creates by following the golden law gives us tranquility

makes us feel satisfied

at home

gives us a sense of satiety to our soul

so, we don’t need to understand the golden law with our mind because our soul is fine if it only accepts it

we don’t always have to explain why

with love,
